The Scottish Archery Association are proud to announce, two of Scotland’s, home grown, hardworking and dedicated archers, Murray Elliot and Kate Murray have been selected in the squad of thirteen archers.  Unfortunately, Alasdair Hamilton and David Gardner missed final selection, but recognition of their achievements should not go unnoticed.

Chair of Scottish Archery, Tracy McGarry said “the progress made by our athletes in the past few years have been astounding, it has been a long and exhausting journey for everyone involved, including all the support staff.  Congratulations to both Kate and Murray.  Their dream of selection for the Olympic Team has been realised and it could not have happened to two genuinely nicer individuals”.

Josie would like to thank all those members who contributed for her lovely flowers and gifts on the occasion of her Birthday and Retirement.

Congratulations to Gilbert for setting 3 new club records this week. 274 score at 90m, beating his previous 266 record. 316 at 70m beating Murray's previous 310 and a double FITA record of 2389, beating Murray;s previous 2358. Two Master Bowman scores in a row too, the second one shot with a broken Nock point! Now that's just showing off. Cool

Also congratulations to Kevin for finally smashing through the 1000 FITA! He's worked hard to get past that hurdle, but 1089 on Saturday showed all the hard work paying off.

Well done guys!

It is the last shoot of the Indoor Season at Linlithgow tonight, which will involve games and chocolate.
Shooting is at the usual times 7.45-9.45 - see you there!
