We have just been made aware that Dawn Construction (Facility Managers at Armadale Academy) plan to carry out essential maintenance on the Games Hall floor and equipment week beginning Mon 15th October through to Friday 19th October.

Unfortunately, this will result in ALL Games Hall lets being cancelled during this period so there will be no shooting on Mon 15th or Wed 17th October 2012.

Don't delay if you want a place!

We are delighted to invite registrations for the next course that starts on Friday 21st September and runs over 4 consecutive Friday evenings at Armadale Academy. The cost will be £50 including all equipment and insurance for the duration of the course.

There is a choice of 2 timeslots as we are running two courses:

6PM to 745PM   OR  8PM to 945PM

A REMINDER : Basics of indoor shooting etiquette (this is not an exhaustive list)

1) Appoint a range captain.

2) Everyone should help set up, those that can't lift heavy stands, bosses and things can put up signs, cones etc.

3) Put up your own target face, if you shoot a face that you didn't put up you must ask permission to do so.

 

Saturdays 8 December and 16 February will be for compounds only while Sunday 9 December and 17 February will be open to all bow types.

There will be a maximum of ten people per day.The cost per person per day will be £25.

These workshops are aimed at the more experienced archers who would like coaching on technique and bow set up.

ALL VISITORS MUST PROVE GNAS MEMBERSHIP

The workshops will be held at Grange Community Centre, Polmont (maps in the download).

Arrival time 9am departure time 5pm. Each workshop will cost £7 for Balbardie members, £10 for visitors. Workshops need to be booked and paid for in advance to ensure a place. Block booking is advised to ensure a place at all workshops. The payment will go towards the cost of the venue and coaches expenses. Early booking is required as the coaches would like you to fill in, and return, a performance form prior to the first workshop.
