Dear Junior Archer,

Re: Scottish Archery Academy

Thank you for expressing an interest in joining the Scottish Archery Academy. We are currently recruiting Junior recurve archers both boys and girls who are between the ages of 12-17. If you believe you have what it takes to join our next generation of elite archers and want to improve your archery skills in a fun but structured environment then read on.....

Congratulations once again are due to Gilbert Jamieson who broke two existing club records and set a new one.

Gilbert raised the bar on the existing club record for a Portsmouth round with a new record of 583 (up from the existing record of 579).

Club shirts will be ordered on the 8th December 2012.
Orders should be placed BEFORE this date.
If you would like to order one (or more!) please take a look at the merchandise page and sort out your size/logo position - follow the instructions!
Cost is related to volume ordered for the whole club, but should be around £12-£14 per shirt.
Orders placed on or after 8th December may not be processed for several months.

A new Scottish Record has been claimed by George Blyth - or rather TWO!!!

On Sunday 14/10/2012 George competed in the combined Fita at Lasswade and came first in Gents Longbow, with two new Scottish Records claimed:

Fita 25 previous 364 new 377

Combined Fita previous 704 new 740

George quipped that he "thought this would carry on with Gilbert's record theme".

Commisserations to the previous holder of these records - oh, wait, that was George too!

Well done George for raising the bar once again.

If anyone wants to grab a club record you better be quick, as Gilbert Jamieson raises the bar on another two, breaking his existing records at the Bannockburn Open at the weekend.

Fita 18 - previous record 560, now 564.

Worcester - previous record 284 now 290.

Well done Gilbert!
